Responsibilities

Own engineering initiatives from problem definition and design through implementation, testing, release, and production support
Develop the schema engine, migration planning, database drivers, and cloud platform
Work with customers to understand technical problems and turn them into product improvements
Improve the tooling and infrastructure used to build the company’s products

Requirements

At least 5 years of software engineering experience and a record of owning significant production systems
Deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud development
Deep understanding of relational databases and data infrastructure
Experience building SaaS or enterprise-grade applications
Computer Science or Software Engineering education, or equivalent experience
Comfort working with Go, backend systems, CLI tools, and web technologies such as React, TypeScript, and GraphQL

Nice to have

Open-source project or community contributions
Experience with database internals, query engines, or migration tooling
