Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and validate financial logic and testing infrastructure using Python
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews
- Translate ambiguous stakeholder and customer needs into functional specifications
- Promote engineering quality and excellence
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues independently and collaboratively
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in Python or a comparable dynamic language
- Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP
- Familiarity with event-streaming or messaging platforms such as Kafka
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills
Nice to have
- Experience with product cores, engines, or infrastructure software
- Experience in low-error-tolerance environments such as embedded systems or medical applications
- Exposure to regulated industries such as fintech or medical systems
- Experience with AI tools, including Claude
