Senior Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience to lead design and delivery of complex features on a cloud-native platform. Own architecture, operate Kubernetes systems, and leverage AI tooling. Strong backend skills required.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of complex, multi-component features across a cloud-native platform.
- Own architecture for new product areas, make trade-offs, and write design docs.
- Break down ambiguous projects into concrete engineering work and ship them.
- Build and operate systems running at scale on Kubernetes.
- Raise the engineering bar through code review, mentorship, and applying AI tooling.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proven track record of independent technical leadership.
- Ability to decompose ambiguous, large-scope projects.
- Hands-on experience operating high-scale production systems.
- Deep, daily experience with Kubernetes.
- AI-first mindset with ability to speak concretely about using AI tooling.
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern backend language (C#, Python, Go, Node.js, or Java).
- Comfort working across the stack, including React/TypeScript.
- Solid grounding in relational databases and data modeling.
- Experience with at least one major cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Nice to have
- Background in an elite Israeli military technology unit.
- Startup experience in a fast-growth environment.
- Experience building LLM-powered agents, AI products, or security-focused engineering.
