Seeking a Senior Software Architect to lead the architectural vision of a SaaS healthcare platform. This hands-on, strategic role combines system design, AI innovation, and technical governance to deliver scalable, secure solutions that transform patient data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the platform’s architectural vision to align with business goals.
- Lead high-level design discussions and decisions for new and existing products.
- Establish and maintain architectural principles, standards, and patterns across engineering teams.
- Drive cloud-native architecture in AWS with a focus on scalability, availability, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Build POCs and pilots for new solutions, frameworks, and AI capabilities.
- Evaluate emerging trends in AI, LLMs, MCPs, agents, and developer productivity tools.
- Initiate projects to solve widespread problems, collaborating with Support, DevOps, and Infosec.
- Spearhead adoption of AI-assisted development workflows, including code copilots and automated quality checks.
- Define best practices and governance for AI usage in development.
- Educate and mentor teams on effective AI utilization, considering security, costs, and compliance.
- Own system scalability, COGS, and stability of the product.
- Define standards for coding, testing, CI/CD, and monitoring.
- Enforce architectural and design reviews for key initiatives.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Data Science, DevOps, and Security teams.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with customers and partners to align architecture with integration requirements.
Requirements
- Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML tooling, including LLM integration and AI-enhanced workflows.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Hebrew and English.
Nice to have
- Experience in healthcare technology with understanding of HIPAA, HL7/FHIR, and interoperability standards.
- Familiarity with data engineering and analytics platforms for real-time and batch processing.
- Exposure to security and compliance frameworks relevant to SaaS in regulated industries.
