Senior Platform Architect

Lead the technical architecture and long-term strategy of a federated computing platform spanning software, cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and deployment environments. Work with engineering leadership, customers, and technology partners from a hybrid Tel Aviv role.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve architecture across software, infrastructure, data, and deployment platforms.
- Shape long-term technical strategy with the VP of R&D and engineering leadership.
- Guide major technical decisions, establish architectural standards, and lead design reviews.
- Partner with Product, Solutions, and Customer Success to align technical capabilities with customer needs.
- Represent the technical vision to customers, partners, and executive stakeholders.
- Remain hands-on in designing and implementing critical platform components.
- Travel internationally for customer and partner engagements, including up to one week per month, and regularly attend evening meetings across time zones.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building and architecting complex software products, including work as a Principal Engineer, Staff Engineer, or Architect.
- Proven experience designing scalable distributed systems and developing long-term technical strategies across multiple engineering teams.
- Track record of influencing technical direction, mentoring engineers, and driving architectural quality without direct managerial authority.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to engineers, executives, customers, and partners, verbally and in writing.
Nice to have
- Experience building technology platforms, flexible compute services, or AI/ML-enabled products.
- Experience with privacy-enhancing technologies, regulated data environments, or hybrid cloud and on-premises architectures.
