Join a leading computer hardware manufacturer to design and develop high-performance networking solutions for web servers, CDNs, and HFT platforms. Work on the full stack from application to hardware access, focusing on kernel bypass and TCP/IP optimization.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance networking solutions using advanced networking card hardware.
- Work in a startup-like environment to create groundbreaking networking solutions.
- Develop the entire solution stack, from application level to networking card hardware access.
- Develop kernel-bypassing user-space TCP/IP stacks on top of networking card hardware.
- Invent and implement creative methods to improve performance and scalability.
- Deliver large-scale, high-quality solutions.
- Work closely with customers and partners.
- Collaborate with multiple teams on new features and improvements.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in C/C++ software development.
- 5+ years of experience with networking protocols.
- 5+ years of experience in a Linux environment.
- Strong design, coding, analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and explore new areas.
- Independence and agility.
- Good social and interpersonal skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with low-latency acceleration and performance improvement.
- Experience with Linux user-space, driver, or kernel development.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the TCP/IP stack.
- Good understanding of system architecture and performance.
