Responsibilities

Design and implement new backend flows and services.
Maintain, improve, and extend backend services and APIs.
Build and maintain data pipelines using message brokers.
Work with relational, NoSQL, and search data stores.
Collaborate with product and architecture teams on scalable, resilient system design.
Integrate and develop AI tools for engineering workflows.

Requirements

At least 4 years of backend engineering experience.
At least 1 year of professional Java experience, plus experience with another backend language such as Go, Python, C#, or TypeScript.
Hands-on experience with relational, NoSQL, and search data stores, including technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, or Redis.
Familiarity with event-driven architecture and at least one message broker, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Experience with a major cloud platform, including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Regular use of AI tools in engineering workflows.
Collaborative communication, self-directed learning, and ownership of work from design through delivery.

Nice to have

Data engineering experience.
Experience building AI agents.
