Join a Jerusalem-based engineering team building reliable, scalable backend services for payments, lending, compliance, and other financial products. The role follows a hybrid schedule with three office days per week.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable software modules and components
- Build backend systems using .NET, SQL Server, RabbitMQ, Docker, and AWS
- Design robust APIs and reliable data flows
- Address performance challenges in mission-critical systems
- Plan, triage, and prioritize work across multiple priorities
- Collaborate with product, DevOps, and frontend engineers
- Share knowledge and mentor teammates
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience developing enterprise systems with C# and .NET Framework 4.6+ or .NET 5.0+
- 6+ years of SQL experience, preferably with SQL Server
- Experience with NHibernate or Entity Framework
- Experience or understanding of Domain-Driven Design
- Experience with Docker and containers
- Experience with SpecFlow and automated testing
- Fluent written and spoken English and Hebrew
- Strong communication skills
Nice to have
- Financial industry or accounting experience
- Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures
- Exposure to NServiceBus, RabbitMQ, and idempotency patterns
- AWS cloud architecture experience
