Join a team building and scaling a microservices-based platform. You will develop reliable backend services with NestJS, collaborate across engineering and product teams, and contribute to architectural decisions and end-to-end delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop backend services and APIs with NestJS in collaboration with frontend engineers.
- Design and maintain scalable, resilient, and high-performing microservices.
- Apply SOLID principles and clean architecture practices.
- Collaborate with DevOps, product, and frontend teams to deliver features end to end.
- Write tested, maintainable, high-quality code.
- Troubleshoot and optimize backend services.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decisions.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery speed.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on NestJS experience.
- Strong experience with the latest version of Angular.
- Solid AWS experience.
- Knowledge of SOLID principles and clean architecture.
- Production experience designing and shipping microservices.
- Understanding of distributed systems, message brokers, API gateways, and asynchronous communication.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Codex, Claude Code, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Experience writing automated tests with tools such as Jest or Mocha.
Nice to have
- Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS.
- Experience with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Performance profiling experience.
- Familiarity with design systems and Swagger or OpenAPI documentation.
