Join a team building a scalable big data platform for real-time cybersecurity threat protection. Design and implement data-intensive solutions, develop data pipelines, and collaborate with stakeholders. The role offers flexible hybrid working.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable solutions on a cloud platform
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and analyzing data
- Create new features from scratch while enhancing and optimizing existing ones
- Implement unit and integration tests
- Participate in an on-call rotation
- Collaborate with stakeholders such as Data Science, SecOps, and QA
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Backend or Big Data positions (Backend Engineers without prior Big Data experience are welcome)
- Proficiency in designing, implementing, and monitoring data-intensive solutions
- Proficiency in modern programming languages (Java, Scala, Python)
- Proficiency in backend/big data technologies (Microservices, Akka, Spark, Flink)
- Experience with data storage systems (Postgres, Mongo, Redis, Delta, Iceberg)
- Experience with streaming technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS)
- Basic understanding of common algorithms and data structures
