Join a technology team building and maintaining the data, computational, research, portfolio construction, and trading systems that support systematic investment strategies. Partner with researchers and quants to deliver production software and develop AI-powered engineering and research tools.
Responsibilities
- Design and build data pipelines and data layers.
- Develop computational frameworks and infrastructure for quantitative strategies at scale.
- Implement and improve software systems for financial data, research, portfolio construction, and trading.
- Partner with researchers and quants to turn ideas into robust production solutions.
- Build and integrate LLM agents, copilots, and automation into engineering and research workflows.
- Use AI coding assistants and agentic developer tools to improve software delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative discipline.
- Three to eight years of software engineering experience.
- Strong Python programming skills; C++ experience is also relevant.
- Experience developing on Linux or Unix platforms and familiarity with scripting languages.
- Experience with version control and continuous integration and deployment.
- Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, judgment, and attention to detail.
Nice to have
- Experience with LLMs, agentic AI, or related AI use cases.
- Experience in finance.
