FPGA Team Leader
Lead and grow an FPGA engineering group developing life-saving medical systems. This strategic role combines deep technical expertise in FPGA/RTL design with leadership, influencing product architecture and safety to improve patient health worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the FPGA engineering team
- Define FPGA architecture and influence product architecture
- Deliver robust, high-quality FPGA solutions in a regulated environment
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure product safety and delivery
- Manage cross-platform and technology initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- At least 6 years of experience in Logic Design and FPGA/RTL development
- More than 2 years of team management experience
- Proficiency in Verilog and SystemVerilog
- Experience with synthesis and implementation using Vivado and Quartus
- Deep understanding of Static Timing Analysis, constraints (XDC/SDC), and low-skew clocking
- Hands-on hardware bring-up experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, JTAG, BERT
- Familiarity with PCIe and SerDes protocols
- Experience with signal-processing algorithms
- Ability to read electrical schematics and basic understanding of SI/PI and power/cooling requirements
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Artix-7 and Kintex UltraScale+ devices
