Design, develop, and scale next-generation backend platform and AI-driven workflows. Build resilient distributed systems and integrate LLMs using AWS Bedrock.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services using Python.
- Build distributed systems, microservices, and AI-driven workflows.
- Integrate Large Language Models via AWS Bedrock and other AWS services.
- Design event-driven architectures and modern APIs.
- Optimize databases, search, and caching for high performance.
- Contribute to cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and observability.
- Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams.
- Provide technical leadership through architecture discussions and mentoring.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
- Strong Python skills, preferably with FastAPI or Django.
- Experience designing scalable distributed systems and microservices.
- Experience building AI-powered apps or integrating LLMs (AWS Bedrock preferred).
- Experience with SQL, NoSQL, ORM frameworks, and query optimization.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures, messaging (Kafka, Celery), and caching (Redis).
- Experience building REST, GraphQL, or gRPC APIs.
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud-native development.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools like OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
Nice to have
- Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) or vector search.
- Experience with OpenSearch or graph databases (Neo4J, Neptune).
- Frontend experience with React or Angular.
- Experience in enterprise or highly regulated environments.
