Join an algorithms team developing advanced perception systems for railway obstacle detection and autonomous train operations. The role focuses on research, model development, and end-to-end delivery of real-world machine learning solutions.
Responsibilities
- Research and develop core deep learning algorithms.
- Develop next-generation 2D and 3D computer vision perception models for complex environments.
- Manage the full machine learning cycle, including data preparation, model design, training, debugging, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with research and engineering teammates.
- Deliver solutions aligned with customer KPIs and real-world operational constraints.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience as a research engineer deploying advanced algorithms.
- Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field; an exceptionally experienced bachelor’s graduate may also be considered.
- Deep understanding of current computer vision algorithms, including object detection and semantic segmentation.
- Experience with Python and PyTorch or another machine learning framework.
- Experience with mathematical modeling.
- Strong communication, initiative, flexibility, and motivation to learn.
Nice to have
- Experience with self-supervised learning or vision transformers.
- Experience applying computer vision to varied real-world domains.
