Mid-Senior Flight Control Algorithms Engineer
Join an engineering team developing autonomous airborne systems. Lead flight-control, guidance, and estimation algorithms from initial concept through hardware testing and flight trials.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of flight-control, guidance, and estimation algorithms for airborne systems.
- Support development from initial concept through testing on real hardware and flight trials.
- Develop comprehensive, high-fidelity simulations for the systems being developed.
- Analyze flight-test results and investigate system performance.
- Work as part of the project systems engineering team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Experience developing algorithms.
- Aeronautical industry experience.
- An advanced degree.
- Knowledge of control theory.
- Experience with Simulink, MATLAB, C++, or C.
