Join a multidisciplinary defense systems team researching and developing electronic warfare and electro-optical countermeasure techniques with practical applications.
Responsibilities
- Define requirements for electronic warfare techniques based on relevant threat research and operational needs
- Define requirements for electro-optical countermeasures and research relevant threats
- Develop electronic warfare techniques
- Support implementation of operational techniques in systems
- Define and oversee technique test programs
- Research electronic warfare techniques across related mechanisms and methods
- Support development of electro-optical countermeasures
- Develop independent simulation tools and tools within existing simulators for technique research and development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering, aeronautics, software engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or another exact science
- Experience developing electronic warfare techniques
- Experience in performance research, data analysis, or simulation
- Knowledge of algorithms or AI systems
- Experience programming in high-level languages such as Python or MATLAB
Nice to have
- Master’s or doctoral degree in an exact science
- Experience developing electro-optical countermeasures
