Join a growing financial planning and analysis SaaS company as a senior engineer responsible for delivering production-ready product features. Work closely with Product and use AI coding agents throughout development while contributing across backend, frontend, QA, infrastructure, and integrations.
Responsibilities
- Own product features from requirements and technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production monitoring.
- Partner with Product to translate business problems into technical solutions and execution plans.
- Design scalable solutions involving architecture, APIs, data models, and integrations.
- Use AI coding agents for development, testing, debugging, documentation, and automation.
- Review and validate AI-generated code and ensure production quality, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Contribute to backend, frontend, QA, CI/CD, infrastructure, and integrations when required.
- Investigate and resolve complex production and performance issues.
- Improve software development, testing, and delivery practices through AI-native engineering.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience building and shipping production software, including end-to-end ownership of features or systems.
- Strong system design fundamentals and experience building scalable cloud SaaS systems.
- Proficiency in Python and Django, with the ability to contribute across the technology stack as needed.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous programming, distributed systems, microservices, and testing.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, GitHub Copilot, or similar.
- Ability to review, challenge, and improve AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Ability to make independent architectural decisions and communicate technical trade-offs clearly.
- Strong product mindset, ownership, independence, and ability to balance technical and business priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and high proficiency in English.
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with modern frontend technologies, especially Angular.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Helm.
- Familiarity with Celery, RabbitMQ, event-driven architectures, or streaming systems.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with QA automation and end-to-end testing.
