Build AI-first systems that monitor, diagnose, and automate production operations across a global enterprise software platform. Investigate incidents deeply and turn recurring problems into durable agents, automations, dashboards, alerts, and delivery safeguards.
Responsibilities
- Build AI agents that analyze production incidents and propose fixes.
- Create dashboards, meaningful alerts, and safe automations for routine operational work.
- Add performance-regression guardrails to the delivery pipeline.
- Extend and roll out an AI operations agent with appropriate approval flows and safety controls.
- Investigate production issues across database execution plans, service logs, application code, and infrastructure.
- Develop capabilities across relational and non-relational databases, event pipelines, caching, and cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with teams across the company to understand operational workflows and automate them.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of production experience as a backend, infrastructure, or DevOps/SRE engineer.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-powered tools, AI agents, or production automations.
- Strong SQL skills and willingness to investigate database internals.
- Ability to read, understand, and fix code in a large existing codebase.
- A strong automation mindset and ability to turn recurring manual work into scripts, pipelines, or agents.
- Willingness to learn across technologies and collaborate with R&D, Data, DevOps, and Customer Success teams.
Nice to have
- Experience tuning relational databases at scale, including execution plans, indexing, and concurrency.
- Experience with non-relational data stores and message-driven architectures.
- Experience with observability platforms and alert design.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD ownership.
- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS environments.
