Senior AI Engineer
Research and develop GPU-accelerated AI techniques, optimize complex algorithms on modern CPU and GPU architectures, and collaborate with hardware, software, and developer communities.
Responsibilities
- Research and develop techniques to accelerate deep learning, machine learning, and other AI workloads on GPUs
- Analyze and optimize complex AI and high-performance computing algorithms for CPU and GPU architectures
- Identify and eliminate system bottlenecks to improve performance
- Present optimization techniques through developer blogs and relevant conferences
- Collaborate with research, hardware, system software, libraries, and tools teams on future architectures and programming models
- Engage with industry and academic technical experts and the developer community
Requirements
- Advanced degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related computational science field, or equivalent experience
- At least 8 years of software development or research experience
- Fluency in C or C++ and strong knowledge of algorithms
- Experience with parallel programming frameworks such as CUDA, OpenACC, OpenMP, MPI, or pthreads
- Hands-on low-level performance optimization experience
- In-depth understanding of CPU and GPU architecture fundamentals
Nice to have
- Parallelization and performance optimization of deep learning models
- Experience with NLP, computer vision, or recommender systems
- Strong understanding of linear algebra
