Lead a small engineering pod building and scaling production-grade GenAI agents and AI platform capabilities. Translate customer feedback and market needs into pragmatic, secure, scalable engineering solutions from prototype through production.
Responsibilities
- Lead a pod of 2–3 engineers and establish AI-first development practices.
- Build GenAI-assisted solutions, prototypes, and platform improvements supporting beta adoption.
- Partner with forward-deployed engineers, product teams, and clients to convert feedback into architectural solutions.
- Own the engineering backlog from customer signal and concept through production delivery.
- Balance rapid GenAI prototyping with scalable core-platform architecture.
- Build and maintain agentic workflows using GenAI coding toolchains and LLM frameworks.
- Develop context layers, prompt pipelines, and fallback mechanisms for reliability and enterprise safety.
- Mentor engineering teams on practical AI adoption and human-AI collaboration.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a senior or lead backend or full-stack engineer.
- Production experience building, architecting, deploying, and operating AI agents, GenAI frameworks, or LLM-based applications.
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-system guardrails.
- Product-minded approach with strong business acumen and customer focus.
- Experience leading engineering pods and collaborating with product and client-facing teams.
- Ability to deliver quickly while maintaining enterprise-grade code quality, security, and stability.
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Background in startup or rapid-execution environments.
- Experience with GenAI coding toolchains and LLM frameworks.
