Own product analytics and turn customer and product data into actionable insights that help teams make better product decisions. Work across Product, Data, and Engineering in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build expertise in the products, customers, and business.
  • Partner with Product Managers on important questions and ad hoc analysis.
  • Define, track, and evolve product KPIs across journeys and flows.
  • Analyze funnels, cohorts, feature adoption, user behavior, and customer drop-offs.
  • Identify points of friction and recommend product and business improvements.
  • Design and analyze A/B tests and product experiments.
  • Measure the impact of launches, feature changes, and customer experience improvements.
  • Build dashboards and recurring insights using Tableau, Mixpanel, Snowflake, dbt, and AI tools.
  • Maintain analytical rigor and ensure stakeholders understand the data.
  • Work with Data and Engineering to improve event tracking, instrumentation, and metric definitions.
  • Communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders and contribute to the team's use of AI.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in product analytics, business analysis, or another data-focused role.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, real-world datasets.
  • Experience analyzing funnels, cohorts, customer journeys, and feature usage.
  • Understanding of conversion, activation, engagement, retention, usage, and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Experience with A/B testing, experimentation, and product measurement.
  • Experience with Tableau, Mixpanel, dbt, Snowflake, or similar tools.
  • Strong attention to analytical rigor, accuracy, data quality, and clear metric definitions.
  • Ability to communicate data clearly and make it actionable for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to connect product behavior with customer experience and business impact.
  • A relevant academic degree or equivalent hands-on experience.

Nice to have

  • Python or R experience for deeper analysis.
  • Experience with consumer products, travel, insurance, fintech, or customer-facing digital products.
