Join an in-house BI team in Tel Aviv to own scalable analytics foundations end to end. You will transform raw data into trusted models, pipelines, semantic layers, and business-critical insights for Product, go-to-market, and Finance teams. The role is hybrid, with three office days per week.
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve data models, pipelines, and the BI layer.
- Own data foundations from raw data through semantic layers.
- Establish trusted, governed metrics for business decision-making.
- Improve data quality, performance, observability, and scalability.
- Use GenAI to automate development workflows and improve delivery speed and analytical accuracy.
- Collaborate with Data Science and business stakeholders across Product, go-to-market, and Finance.
- Mentor colleagues, set analytics engineering standards, and lead by example.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in BI or data engineering roles with ownership of scalable data platforms.
- Deep experience with modern data stacks, including Snowflake or Databricks and dbt.
- Advanced SQL and Python skills, including data quality, CI/CD, and observability.
- Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, data warehousing, and semantic layers.
- Experience with Airflow or similar orchestration tools and large-scale data processing.
- Proven use of GenAI tools in day-to-day development and analytics engineering workflows.
- Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into governed metrics.
- Strong business orientation and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
Nice to have
- Experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka and Spark.
