Responsibilities
- Translate cybersecurity regulations and legal mandates into technical requirements and engineering controls.
- Optimize and scale secure product development lifecycle processes across hardware, firmware, and software pipelines.
- Lead security certifications, technical evaluations, audits, and reviews with engineering teams and external laboratories.
- Build automation for compliance tracking, evidence collection, and security verification, including AI-enabled workflows.
- Provide technical guidance on product security architecture, compliance readiness, and engineering roadmaps.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in security engineering, product security governance, or secure development programs.
- Strong knowledge of secure product and system development lifecycles, risk management, threat modeling, and hardware and software security.
- Ability to analyze system architectures, low-level firmware, and code to assess compliance with security requirements.
- Experience leading hardware, firmware, or software products through third-party security evaluations, testing, or formal validation.
- Ability to write code and develop automation scripts, AI workflows, or security tooling.
- Strong collaboration skills across engineering, product management, legal, and executive teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with conformity assessment regimes such as the EU Cyber Resilience Act or GDPR.
- Background in silicon security, microarchitecture, low-level firmware, or embedded systems.
- Experience with FIPS 140-3, Common Criteria, or other cryptographic validation programs.
- Relevant industry security certifications.
