Responsible for leading projects end-to-end, from scoping and planning to delivery and close-out. Manage stakeholder relationships, commercial performance (P&L), subcontractors, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Drive business development and build strong client partnerships within construction, facilities management, and infrastructure sectors.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from inception to completion across customer sites, taking full ownership of delivery.
- Define project scope, develop delivery plans, and oversee day-to-day operational activities including subcontractor coordination.
- Lead pre-construction scoping, tendering, cost planning, and review of construction phase plans.
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing expert advice on feasibility.
- Take full commercial accountability for each project, managing budgets, margins, and financial performance.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, building a robust pipeline of work.
- Ensure compliance with QHSE standards and CDM requirements, managing all project documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years project management experience in construction, facilities management, or a related environment.
- Strong knowledge of pre-construction, tendering, cost planning, and project delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and financial performance.
- Solid understanding of health, safety, and compliance requirements, including CDM principles.
- IOSH Managing Safely and/or SMSTS certification.
- Recognised technical qualification in construction, M&E, or similar.
- Recognised qualification in Project Management.
Nice to have
- NEBOSH certification.
- Previous experience operating at a senior level.
