Partner with product, engineering, and data teams to define customer needs and design end-to-end flows for a global financial app. Own the design process from discovery to delivery, including user research, prototyping, and usability testing. Ensure simple and elegant solutions that enhance user experience.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Owners, Engineers, and Data Scientists to define customer needs.
- Identify key metrics and take ownership of project success.
- Research complex company goals such as launching in new territories.
- Design products from wireframes to end-to-end flows and prototypes.
- Conduct guerrilla and customer testing workshops.
- Implement technical solutions and present actions during design reviews.
- Review release performance and identify enhancements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience designing world-class commercial apps in-house.
- Portfolio featuring examples of product design work.
- Impressive design skills across iOS, Android, and web platforms.
- Ability to think at high level about product strategy and articulate design decisions.
- Solid understanding of technical implications in design decisions.
- Ability to take ownership of design processes.
- Focus on UX and understanding of human behaviour.
- Clean visual design sense.
- Skills in typography and grids.
- Love for problem-solving and to be challenged.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field.
- Experience programming and ability to code simple prototypes.
- Experience designing and maintaining cross-platform design systems.
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
