Lead a major product area for a digital banking platform serving small and medium-sized businesses. Own product vision, strategy, roadmaps, delivery, and measurable customer and business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Define product vision, strategy, roadmaps, and priorities for a major product area.
- Take products and features from ideation through launch and iteration.
- Track KPIs, monitor performance, and make data- and customer-informed decisions.
- Partner with design and engineering to deliver usable, reliable, secure, high-quality experiences.
- Research SMB workflows and pain points to identify meaningful product opportunities.
- Drive integrations with banking, accounting, and payment platforms.
- Develop product narratives that align leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience on go-to-market launches and adoption.
- Evaluate and manage strategic internal and external partnerships.
- Champion product quality, ownership, and a strong product culture.
Requirements
- At least five years of product management experience, including ownership of products at scale.
- Demonstrated ability to own a product area and influence broader strategy.
- Strong data skills, including self-service metrics and basic SQL queries.
- Excellent storytelling, communication, and stakeholder-influencing skills.
- Experience partnering closely with engineering and design to deliver polished products.
- Experience working with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience on launches and adoption.
- Comfort working in ambiguous environments and creating structure.
- Curiosity about experimentation, product tooling, and process improvement.
Nice to have
- Experience building fintech products or working in a fintech startup.
- Experience joining an early-stage company and supporting its growth.
- Familiarity with risk and fraud tools or credit underwriting frameworks.
Benefits
- Annual salary range of $162,000–$198,000 CAD, with a stated target level of $180,000 CAD.
