Senior Game Systems Designer
A game studio is seeking a Senior Game Systems Designer to own the mathematical and systemic foundation of a factory simulation game for PC and console. The role focuses on economy design, progression, multiplayer systems, simulation tools, and data-informed iteration.

- Own the mathematical backbone of a factory simulation game.
- Design and maintain resource flows, production rates, costs, rewards, and progression curves.
- Build models and spreadsheets for factory input and output balancing across manufacturing systems.
- Design and balance ring-based progression that introduces increasing complexity without overwhelming players.
- Balance multiplayer systems including trade, shared infrastructure, and cooperative factory chains.
- Collaborate with game design, engineering, and narrative teams to align systemic and experiential goals.
- Create simulation tools and frameworks for rapid prototyping and stress-testing economic assumptions.
- Define player engagement, retention, and economy-health KPIs and use live data to guide iteration.

- At least 5 years of systems design or economy design experience on shipped games.
- Deep experience with interlocking systems such as resource chains, technology trees, and production economies.
- Advanced mathematical modeling and game balancing skills.
- Strong understanding of game economy fundamentals, including sinks, faucets, inflation control, and progression pacing.
- Ability to model, simulate, and visualize system behavior before implementation.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, Solver, and macros.
- Fluent English for documentation and presentations in a distributed team.
- Strong analytical, communication, prototyping, and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills.
