Inventory Planning and Control Analyst

A manufacturing division in Netanya is seeking an Inventory Planning and Control Analyst to manage inventory analysis, planning, reporting, and improvement initiatives across production and supply-chain operations.

- Analyze, plan, and control divisional inventory against periodic inventory targets.
- Analyze inventory categories and implement actions to reduce passive and excess inventory.
- Monitor purchase orders and inventory receipts at company warehouses and escalate exceptions.
- Support sales of excess inventory to external parties and manage accessory sales-potential reports.
- Produce periodic reports, maintain an accurate and current inventory view, and distribute reports regularly.
- Analyze obsolete inventory data and recommend inventory transfers and scrapping.
- Participate in inventory counts at company sites and contract-manufacturer warehouses.
- Monitor work orders and work-in-process output across production sites and plants.
- Perform trend analyses, identify operational risks, and recommend process improvements.
- Coordinate with production planning, procurement, finance, warehouse, manufacturing, and engineering teams.

- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in planning, production planning, material planning, inventory management, or inventory control within a manufacturing or industrial company.
- Understanding of planning, procurement, production, and inventory-management processes, including MRP, BOMs, and work orders.
- Knowledge of excess, passive, and obsolete inventory, as well as inventory scrapping processes.
- Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and work with large data sets.
- Experience with ERP systems and reconciling information from multiple data sources.
- Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills, with the ability to work across multiple organizational interfaces.
