Lead FPGA and electronics development for a multidisciplinary quantum computing platform. This hands-on role spans architecture, RTL implementation, PCB development, system integration, and laboratory validation.

- Lead FPGA and electronics development, set priorities, review designs, mentor engineers, and ensure high-quality execution.
- Own FPGA and electronics architecture, including system partitioning, device selection, hardware/software interfaces, clocking, synchronization, power architecture, and signal integrity.
- Contribute hands-on to RTL design, FPGA SoC and IP integration, simulation, synthesis, implementation, timing closure, and on-chip debugging.
- Own the electronics lifecycle from requirements and specifications through component selection, schematic and PCB reviews, manufacturing support, board bring-up, validation, and release.
- Direct board-development partners by defining scope and technical requirements, managing work, reviewing deliverables, and tracking performance, quality, and schedules.
- Plan and track milestones, manage technical risks and dependencies, and coordinate delivery with the broader system plan.
- Lead system integration and root-cause analysis across FPGA, digital, analog, RF, power, and communications electronics.
- Collaborate with software, system architecture, optics, and experimental physics teams to translate system needs into reliable control electronics.

- BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of hands-on FPGA development experience in complex multidisciplinary systems.
- At least 2 years as an FPGA team leader or technical lead, including mentoring and design reviews.
- Strong command of SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL and the FPGA development flow.
- Experience with FPGA architecture, timing constraints and closure, clock-domain crossing, reset design, resource optimization, and third-party IP integration.
- Strong board-level digital and mixed-signal electronics experience, including power, clocking, high-speed interfaces, signal integrity, and board bring-up.
- Strong simulation, verification, and lab debugging skills using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and embedded debug tools.
- Ability to translate multidisciplinary system requirements into technical decisions and executable plans; strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

- Experience with Xilinx devices and Vivado, including Zynq or Versal platforms.
- Experience with deterministic, low-latency, or high-rate real-time control systems.
- Experience integrating high-speed ADCs or DACs, RF electronics, precision clocking, or synchronized distributed hardware.
- Embedded C or C++ and embedded Linux experience.
- Experience with electro-optical systems, photonics, scientific instrumentation, or quantum systems.
- Experience taking FPGA and electronics systems from prototype through productization and manufacturing.
