Lead hands-on development and commissioning of high-power and pulsed-power systems for a fusion platform and laboratory infrastructure. The role combines technical ownership with team leadership and cross-functional coordination.

- Lead development and commissioning of multi-megawatt power electronics and pulsed-power generators.
- Lead and mentor the power electronics and electrical engineering team; set priorities, manage work plans, and report progress, risks, budgets, and timelines.
- Own design, procurement, construction, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and optimization of power electronics hardware and supporting control, diagnostics, and automation software.
- Design and optimize power conversion, charging, switching, energy storage, inverter, driver, controller, and passive-component solutions.
- Select architectures and components for reliable, scalable, manufacturable, and cost-effective systems.
- Coordinate system integration, experimental operations, design reviews, and upgrades with physics, mechanical, software, and laboratory teams.
- Establish engineering methods, testing procedures, documentation standards, schematics, commissioning reports, and design reviews.
- Define scopes of work and provide technical oversight for consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and manufacturing partners.
- Support the transition of R&D systems toward scalable, manufacturable designs.

- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in power electronics, pulsed-power systems, or high-power electrical systems, including hands-on engineering leadership.
- Experience designing, manufacturing, installing, testing, and troubleshooting high-voltage and high-current AC and DC systems.
- Expertise with solid-state switches, including IGBTs, SCRs, FETs, SiC, and GaN.
- Experience with inverters, converters, charging systems, capacitor banks, energy storage, and pulsed-power architectures.
- Knowledge of magnetics, including high-frequency transformer and inductor design, and capacitor selection, derating, and reliability.
- Experience designing or working with high-voltage and high-current PCBs.
- Laboratory measurement skills, including oscilloscopes and high-voltage/high-current probes.
- System integration and troubleshooting experience in multidisciplinary R&D or deep-tech environments.
- Familiarity with tools such as PSIM, LTspice, KiCad, Altium, MATLAB, Python, and Microsoft Office, or equivalents.
- Strong English communication, writing, documentation, and collaboration skills.
