Tech Lead – GIS and Full-Stack Development

Lead a small development team while remaining hands-on with full-stack engineering, GIS architecture, geospatial databases, and infrastructure for municipal and operational projects. This is a full-time, on-site role in Kiryat Ata.

תחומי אחריות

  • Provide hands-on technical leadership for a small development team
  • Plan and conduct code reviews and establish software quality standards
  • Define application architecture and prepare technical design documents
  • Manage and optimize GeoServer instances and spatial databases
  • Work with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and development environments
  • Translate client needs into technical specifications

דרישות

  • At least four years of experience as a team lead or senior developer with leadership responsibilities
  • Hands-on experience with open-source GIS, including mandatory GeoServer and PostGIS experience
  • Proficiency with OpenLayers and experience with React
  • Understanding of Linux or Windows server administration and Docker infrastructure
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering
  • High-level English proficiency

  • Experience with ESRI technologies, including ArcGIS Server or Portal
  • Node.js, Python, or .NET development experience
  • Experience handling geographic big data
  • Background in GIS or geography
