Own the development of a product from architecture through delivery, build and lead an internal engineering team, and manage the transition from an external development vendor.

- Build an internal development team from the ground up, including hiring and workflow setup.
- Provide technical and professional leadership, including hands-on coding and complex problem-solving.
- Mentor engineers and support their professional development.
- Oversee an external development vendor, including code reviews, architecture decisions, and CI/CD.
- Build and maintain a Python and AWS Lambda-based product with a React front end.
- Work with the CTO on strategic planning and the phased transition of product ownership to the internal team.
- Collaborate closely with the product team.
דרישות
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of software development experience, including at least 3 years in full-stack development.
- Advanced Python expertise, including production development, architecture, and best practices.
- Significant hands-on React experience.
- At least 3 years of engineering team management, including code reviews, architecture decisions, and developer mentoring.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with sprint planning and iterative delivery.
- Experience with AWS, especially serverless services such as Lambda.
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
- Experience using AI tools in daily software development.
- Strong independent ownership and systems-level thinking.

- Experience managing external vendors or subcontractors, particularly quality-control activities.
- Experience leading technology transitions or transferring product ownership from an external vendor to an internal team.
- Familiarity with AI-based systems development.
- Familiarity with financial systems.
