Senior Backend Engineer – AI Platform

Join an AI engineering team building the backend foundations, tools, and services that power intelligent product experiences. This is a full-time, nine-month temporary role covering maternity leave, based in a hybrid work environment in Tel Aviv-Yafo.

תחומי אחריות

  • Design, build, and maintain backend infrastructure and microservices for AI-driven features
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and data teams to integrate AI models and services into core systems
  • Develop and optimize APIs, data pipelines, and background-processing workflows
  • Ensure the performance, scalability, and resilience of production systems supporting real-time AI interactions
  • Contribute to code reviews, architecture discussions, and engineering automation
  • Mentor backend developers and promote best practices in software design, testing, and deployment

דרישות

  • At least 6 years of experience as a software engineer, with strong backend experience
  • Excellent knowledge of software design, clean architecture, and scalable distributed systems
  • Experience leading end-to-end feature development from design through deployment
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including unit testing, TDD, and mocking
  • Proficiency with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
  • Ability to learn independently and explore new technologies
  • Proactive, collaborative approach and a desire to influence the team, product, and customers
