A technology-focused company is seeking a Senior SQL Database Administrator to manage, monitor, secure, and optimize production database environments. This is a full-time, on-site role in Herzliya.

- Manage, monitor, and optimize SQL database environments
- Configure and maintain production databases
- Implement backup, recovery, replication, and high-availability strategies
- Troubleshoot complex database and performance issues
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams on database design and resource planning
- Establish database operations best practices and documentation
- Contribute to continuous improvement of database operations
דרישות
- Experience administering production databases
- Experience with replication, high availability, and disaster recovery
- Proficiency in database design, schema modeling, and optimization
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for performance issues, errors, and complex incidents
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or comparable platforms
- Knowledge of indexing, query optimization, performance tuning, and capacity planning
- Familiarity with PowerShell, Python, or SQL scripting for automation
- Understanding of database security, access control, and compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to work on-site in Herzliya and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
