An algorithmic-trading research company is seeking an experienced Database Reliability Engineer for its Infrastructure and Operations team. The role focuses on reliable, secure, and high-performing database services across production environments.

- Design, configure, implement, and maintain MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, and InfluxDB platforms
- Manage databases across cloud and on-premises infrastructure
- Support query design, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
- Monitor database health, capacity, and performance and address bottlenecks
- Maintain availability, reliability, data integrity, security, backup, and recovery processes
- Operate and optimize large-scale, high-throughput database clusters and distributed data platforms
- Collaborate with developers, researchers, and infrastructure teams on operational issues
- Document, automate, and continuously improve database operations
דרישות
- At least 8 years of database engineering experience in large-scale, production-critical environments
- Hands-on expertise in database infrastructure, automation, reliability, and performance optimization
- Strong knowledge of database architecture, Linux systems, and system-level troubleshooting
- Professional experience with MySQL, Redis, and InfluxDB
- Scripting or programming skills for infrastructure automation
- Experience using AI agents or AI-assisted tools in complex technical environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a relevant technical certification, or equivalent practical experience
