A security software company is hiring a Junior Security Analyst in Israel to research mobile threats, analyze malware and device logs, develop detections, and support incident response. The hybrid role requires working from the Tel Aviv office at least three days per week.

- Research methods for detecting malicious activity using custom tools
- Research protections against zero-day attacks
- Analyze detection accuracy and precision, then tune detections based on results
- Monitor malware trends and design corresponding detections
- Analyze device logs for signs of malicious activity
- Write and manage detection patterns and algorithms for Android and iOS threats
- Research emerging mobile threats and support incident response
- Provide sales and marketing teams with timely threat and trend information
- Complete assigned duties and special projects
דרישות
- At least 1–2 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience extracting and analyzing data from mobile devices
- Understanding of cybersecurity and intrusion detection
- Strong Python programming or scripting skills
- Expertise in mobile malware analysis and strong interest in mobile security
- Fluent English and strong presentation skills
- Based in Israel with authorization and sponsorship to live and work there

- Experience using YARA rules for malware detection
- Knowledge of incident response
- Experience with databases and SQL or KQL queries
- Ability to identify and execute mobile exploits
- Customer-focused approach and ability to iterate from customer feedback
