Mid-Level Construction Engineer

Full-time, on-site position responsible for day-to-day execution of a residential construction project, coordinating contractors, consultants, suppliers, schedules, resources, documentation, safety, and regulatory approvals.

- Coordinate engineering execution and planning with consultants.
- Review and optimize reinforcement plans to improve construction efficiency and reduce costs.
- Create and maintain the project execution schedule based on contractual milestones.
- Plan and manage site activities, equipment, and resources within schedule, budget, and safety requirements.
- Order and coordinate the supply of reinforcement steel.
- Manage execution drawings and distribute current versions to subcontractors.
- Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
- Issue work instructions, prepare work plans, and monitor quantities and progress.
- Ensure execution complies with approved plans, technical specifications, building regulations, and safety requirements.
- Support quality-control processes, inspections, documentation, and approvals.
- Report schedules, costs, progress, and site issues to project management.
- Support the process of obtaining Form 4 approval.

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in high-rise or residential construction.
- Experience supervising contractors and coordinating daily site activities.
- Experience working with local authorities and engineering consultants.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities.
- Proficiency with construction and office software, such as AutoCAD, MS Office, and scheduling tools including MS Project or Primavera.
- Knowledge of building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and make independent site decisions.
- Ability to lead and motivate employees and contractors.
