Lead the development and integration of complex airborne systems, from proof of concept through customer implementation and product lifecycle support.
Responsabilidades
- Lead development of complex airborne systems.
- Define system requirements based on customer needs and product definitions.
- Coordinate integration plans, schedules, resources, and equipment with the PMO.
- Define and lead system-level test plans to validate designs against requirements.
- Collaborate with R&D and business leaders to support timely project delivery.
- Lead experiments, tests, studies, and analytical investigations; interpret and present results.
- Work with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop solutions from proof of concept through customer implementation.
- Contribute documentation for manufacturing, installation, technical support, and training.
- Support products throughout their lifecycle, including installation, upgrades, service escalations, and end of life.
- Provide regular project updates to leadership.
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, such as mechanical, aerospace, or electrical engineering, or a related field.
- At least 6 years managing engineering or development projects.
- At least 2 years designing and managing UAVs or systems of comparable complexity.
- At least 2 years designing and releasing parts for fabrication and mass production.
- Experience with aircraft design, performance analysis, or construction.
- Experience deriving software and hardware requirements from product initiatives.
- Experience producing production-quality engineering documentation.
- Experience creating and managing schedules using Jira, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
- Experience with gated design processes, including PDR and CDR.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively in a team.
