Join a networking solutions team supporting enterprise customers and developing tools for switching products, datacenter platforms, containers, and related system software. The role combines customer problem-solving with software development and requires strong networking expertise.
Responsabilidades
- Develop features and tools supporting enterprise networking and switching solutions.
- Work with enterprise customers and internal users to improve the availability, reliability, and user experience of networking products.
- Own Ethernet and InfiniBand switch deployment issues from initial investigation through resolution.
- Analyze and resolve complex customer problems across networking installations, maintenance, and operations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to document, reproduce, and resolve issues.
- Support complex networking deployments involving datacenter platforms, containers, and system software.
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of system software development and troubleshooting experience, ideally including customer-facing work.
- Experience developing with Python, C, and C++ in kernel, application, or embedded software environments.
- Strong Linux knowledge, including tools, utilities, and kernel functionality.
- Hands-on experience with containers and virtualization technologies.
- Deep knowledge of IPv4, IPv6, Layer 2 switching, TCP/IP, and routing protocols including ARP, STP, LACP, MLAG, IGMP, PIM, BGP, and OSPF.
- Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and ownership skills.

- Experience with large-scale network environments and overlay technologies such as BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, or EVPN.
- Operational expertise with network switch and router platforms such as IOS, JunOS, or EOS.
- Experience with SRv6, high-performance computing, low-latency systems, or performance tuning.
- Contributions to networking open-source projects such as FRR or Bird.
- Experience with AI coding tools or AI agents.
