A technology and business-oriented engineer responsible for designing infrastructure, low-voltage, CCTV, and command-and-control solutions for enterprise clients in the homeland security sector.
Responsabilidades
- Characterize and design infrastructure, low-voltage, CCTV, and command-and-control solutions.
- Prepare technical responses to tenders, RFPs, and RFIs.
- Lead technical meetings and reviews with clients.
- Own the technical aspects of deals in collaboration with the sales team.
- Train internal personnel on new services and technologies.
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Communications, Information Systems, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline; a practical engineering qualification may also be accepted.
- Mandatory experience writing RFP and RFI responses.
- Deep knowledge of low-voltage systems, including access control, alarms, security cameras, IP, LPR, VMS, and analytics.
- Deep knowledge of control and command-and-control systems.
- Knowledge of IP, optical, and radio communications infrastructure and related protocols.
- Knowledge of computing infrastructure, server hardware, data communications, and network security equipment such as switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Mandatory experience designing system architectures covering servers, storage, communications, and networking.
- Experience with large enterprise clients in control systems, command-and-control, or low-voltage environments.
- Knowledge of system pricing, including profit-and-loss statements.
- Strong technical presentation and written communication skills, with the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
- Technical sales orientation and the ability to analyze customer needs and make commercially informed technical decisions.
