Lead a multidisciplinary R&D organization spanning software, hardware, and related technical disciplines. Own technology strategy, architecture, engineering execution, quality, delivery, and team development while remaining technically engaged.
Responsabilidades
- Own the R&D organization across technology, development, quality, and delivery.
- Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Define and execute the R&D strategy, technology roadmap, and development methodologies.
- Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, design decisions, technical problem solving, and code reviews.
- Review technical implementations and uphold standards for code quality, scalability, maintainability, and engineering practices.
- Lead complex development projects from concept through production and ensure predictable delivery.
- Partner with Product and senior leadership on product strategy, roadmap, and technical priorities.
- Build an engineering culture centered on technical excellence, ownership, collaboration, execution, and continuous learning.
- Recruit, coach, and retain engineers and engineering leaders.
- Improve collaboration between hardware and software teams.
Requisitos
- At least 7 years of experience in software or R&D management.
- Strong hands-on software development background and current or recent technical involvement.
- Experience with software architecture, system design, scalability, performance, and engineering best practices.
- Experience leading complex, multidisciplinary products and development environments.
- Experience defining technology roadmaps and making architectural and technology decisions.
- Strong experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Proven ability to recruit, build, motivate, and retain high-performing engineering teams.
- Ability to coach managers, senior engineers, and technical leaders.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
