Lead the Engagement team responsible for a high-throughput link-serving platform. Own architecture, delivery, reliability, and team development while remaining hands-on in technical design and code.
Responsabilidades
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of senior backend engineers, including hiring and career feedback.
- Own the end-to-end architecture and design of the link-serving platform.
- Own the edge layer with Infrastructure, including CDN strategy and edge computing.
- Manage production health, service-level objectives, capacity, cost efficiency, and on-call participation.
- Partner with Product, Data, and Infrastructure to turn ambiguous requirements into sequenced technical plans.
- Contribute hands-on through architecture work, design reviews, and software development.
Requisitos
- At least 5 years of software development experience with strong backend engineering expertise.
- At least 2 years of direct people management experience, including hiring, performance management, and career development.
- Proven experience designing, building, and operating high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems.
- Strong proficiency with AWS, GCP, or Azure and modern deployment practices including containers, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD.
- Hands-on expertise in at least one of Go, Clojure, Node.js, or Java, with willingness to work across a polyglot stack.
- Experience with relational databases and NoSQL or caching systems such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, or Redis.
- Working knowledge of Kafka or an equivalent streaming platform, including partitioning, consumer groups, ordering, and backpressure.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

- Experience with CDNs, edge computing, WAF rules, or related tools.
- Functional programming experience with Clojure, Scala, Erlang, or Elixir.
- AdTech experience.
