Lead packaging development activities, managerial coordination, supplier relationships, and innovation programs for a manufacturing organization. The role reports to the R&D and Projects Department Manager and manages a Packaging Development Specialist.
Responsabilidades
- Provide professional and managerial leadership for packaging development activities.
- Drive packaging innovation and operational efficiency strategies.
- Coordinate packaging changes, design, and production with manufacturing teams.
- Lead resolution of manufacturing and quality issues across company sites.
- Maintain packaging specifications, product files, and the packaging archive.
- Streamline packaging-related services and cross-functional interfaces.
- Oversee supplier qualification and strategic vendor relationships.
- Implement efficiency programs across organizational units.
- Drive technology solutions and innovation initiatives with strategic suppliers.
Requisitos
- Experience leading packaging development activities in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to coordinate packaging changes, design, and production across product categories.
- Experience resolving manufacturing and quality issues across multiple sites.
- Strong capability in cross-functional coordination with marketing, design, suppliers, plants, procurement, and quality teams.
- Experience qualifying packaging suppliers and managing strategic vendor relationships.
