Lead a high-performing software engineering team while remaining hands-on with backend architecture, development, AI agent systems, and scalable product delivery. The role is split approximately evenly between engineering leadership and software engineering.
Responsabilidades
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers
- Conduct technical reviews, planning, stakeholder management, and delivery oversight
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices
- Lead backend system architecture and implementation
- Write code and perform design reviews as part of a hands-on engineering role
- Own development, maintenance, testing strategy, and operations for containerized API services
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of product features and components
- Ensure application performance, uptime, scalability, security, and code quality
- Make technical decisions affecting system architecture and development practices
- Research and recommend technologies to improve the product
- Collaborate with a small cross-functional team on product development
- Participate across the agile software development lifecycle
Requisitos
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 12 years of backend development experience
- At least 4 years of team management experience
- At least 3 years of Python experience
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and server-side technologies
- Strong React experience
- Experience with large-scale SQL and NoSQL databases, including SingleStore or PostgreSQL
- Fluency with relational databases
- At least 1 year building agentic AI systems or autonomous agents
- Experience with agent frameworks such as AutoGen, LangChain, CrewAI, or similar
- Understanding of AI reasoning patterns, tool use, function calling, safety, reliability, and error handling
- Experience with agent evaluation and testing
- Experience with agile development and sprint planning
