Lead the municipal infrastructure division, overseeing roads, drainage, street lighting, engineering coordination, public construction, and infrastructure maintenance across the city.
Responsabilidades
- Manage the infrastructure division and its personnel across roads, drainage, street lighting, engineering coordination, and infrastructure maintenance.
- Lead engineering support, execution, and oversight of projects from planning through construction and handover to maintenance.
- Manage project managers, planners, and contractors.
- Prepare annual and multi-year work plans and monitor their implementation.
- Manage development budgets and oversee financial and accounting controls for engineering projects.
- Oversee the maintenance of roads and municipal infrastructure, including lighting, traffic facilities, and bus shelters.
- Lead safety-related projects resulting from traffic committee decisions.
- Oversee the planning and construction of public buildings, educational facilities, roads, and municipal infrastructure from program development through completion.
- Coordinate municipal infrastructure and external works across the city.
- Prepare dedicated development and maintenance tenders and framework agreements, and monitor their continuity and performance.
- Present infrastructure matters to procurement, tender, work-award, and other municipal committees.
- Represent the municipality in discussions with institutions and external bodies on infrastructure matters.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requisitos
- Experience managing infrastructure, construction, or municipal engineering activities.
- Ability to manage project managers, planners, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience preparing work plans and monitoring execution against schedules and development budgets.
- Ability to coordinate infrastructure works with municipal departments and external organizations.
- Strong understanding of engineering project delivery, maintenance, procurement, and tender processes.
