A university computing and cybersecurity department is hiring an IT Support Specialist to maintain public computer classrooms, resolve technical issues, install systems and software, and support students and teaching staff. This is a full-time temporary replacement position.
Responsabilidades
- Maintain computer classrooms and peripheral equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Install operating systems and software and perform security updates.
- Provide technical support to students and teaching staff.
- Manage IT equipment inventory, orders, replacements, and allocation.
- Support the planning and setup of new computer classrooms and coordinate with suppliers and contractors.
Requisitos
- Academic degree or practical engineering certificate.
- At least two years of relevant experience.
- Experience installing operating systems, hardware, and software.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving hardware and/or software issues.
- Strong service orientation and ability to work as part of a team.
