Support large-scale data center operations by deploying, monitoring, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining servers, networking equipment, and related infrastructure. The role requires physical equipment handling and availability for rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. U.
Responsabilidades
- Deploy and operate new data center infrastructure across teams
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and infrastructure issues using established procedures
- Maintain data security and integrity, including tracking media and identifying improper data erasure
- Disassemble end-of-life equipment and replace parts
- Repair equipment, servers, machines, and infrastructure
- Perform preventive maintenance and resolve issues independently
- Participate in or lead installation projects and develop contingency plans
Requisitos
- Experience performing component-level repairs and troubleshooting on technical equipment
- Experience diagnosing operating systems, computer hardware, and server hardware
- Knowledge of networking protocols
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lb (23 kg) and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- Availability for non-standard, shift-based schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Se valora
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Four years of experience maintaining and monitoring server systems
- Data center or network operations center experience
- Linux experience
- Project management and leadership experience
