A leading Israeli financial services organization is seeking a CPA to join its Finance team. The role focuses on financial reporting, technical accounting, IFRS 17 implementation, and complex accounting projects in a regulated, hybrid work environment.
Responsabilidades
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under IFRS standards
- Analyze and implement new accounting standards and assess their impact
- Prepare accounting position papers on complex technical accounting matters
- Support and oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities
- Provide accounting guidance to business units and finance teams
- Analyze complex accounting issues, transactions, acquisitions, and business combinations
- Participate in cross-functional financial and strategic projects
Requisitos
- Certified Public Accountant with completed internship or articleship at a leading accounting firm
- At least three years of experience in accounting and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of IFRS standards, including hands-on IFRS 17 implementation
- Experience preparing financial statements and handling complex accounting matters
- Excellent written and spoken Hebrew and English
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems
Se valora
- Experience managing a team of three to four employees
- Insurance-sector experience
- Knowledge of Solvency II and insurance accounting
- SAP experience
