A global digital asset platform is hiring a Senior Accountant in Israel to own accounting, financial reporting, statutory compliance, tax activities, and finance operations. The role reports to the Accounting Director and partners with global finance teams, external advisors, and local stakeholders.
Responsabilidades
- Own end-to-end accounting and financial reporting under US GAAP and group accounting policies.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities, including reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis.
- Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including vendor onboarding, invoice processing, payment runs, reconciliations, aging, and accrual completeness.
- Review banking operations, bank and credit card reconciliations, employee expenses, cash position, and payment execution.
- Manage intercompany balances, recharges, reconciliations, settlements, and consolidation support.
- Prepare Israeli statutory financial statements and manage external audits from start to finish.
- Support corporate tax compliance, tax reconciliations, advance payments, and tax authority inquiries.
- Own VAT, withholding, and cross-border payment compliance and reporting.
- Review payroll accounting, statutory contributions, pension, severance provisions, payroll journals, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Maintain finance systems including NetSuite, Coupa, and banking platforms, while improving data integrity and processes.
- Identify and implement accounting automation and AI-enabled process improvements.
- Guide the bookkeeping team, set priorities, and maintain standards for accuracy and timeliness.
- Partner with global finance teams, stakeholders, vendors, and advisors on operational initiatives and ad hoc accounting projects.
Requisitos
- Israeli CPA qualification.
- Big Four experience, including high-tech audit experience.
- 3–5 years of post-internship accounting experience.
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, Israeli direct and indirect taxation, VAT, and withholding requirements.
- Experience preparing Israeli statutory financial statements and managing external audits.
- Hands-on NetSuite experience across general ledger, accounts payable, and banking modules.
- Highly proficient Microsoft Excel skills.
- Proven experience adopting or integrating AI tools into accounting workflows.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Hebrew and English.
