A digital games company is seeking an Assistant Controller in Tel Aviv to support accounting, reporting, compliance, and finance operations for Israeli and U.S. business units.
Responsabilidades
- Prepare and record monthly general ledger journal entries and perform account reconciliations.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and report discrepancies and imbalances.
- Prepare audit workpapers and schedules and support internal and external auditors.
- Coordinate with business owners to ensure accurate and timely invoicing through Oracle modules.
- Support compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with tax filings and statutory reporting.
- Prepare and monitor weekly cash flow reports.
- Collaborate with U.S. Finance on reconciliations, discrepancy resolution, and reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes through automation and AI-driven tools.
- Manage ad hoc finance projects.
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA certification.
- At least 2 years of progressive experience in general accounting and finance.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. and Israeli GAAP.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and conditional formulas.
- Fluent written and verbal English and Hebrew.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and process-improvement skills.
